LWAG first meeting for 2020

LWAG are excited to be hosting Taupō-based dairy company Miraka at their January 16 meeting 2020.

Miraka have made headlines recently regarding their environmental stewardship and also for innovative carbon accounting processes. The green-house gas reports of over 100 farms - a first for new Zealand - aims to inform reduction targets and strategies.

Also of interest to Lakes and Waterways members will be the monitoring and management of nutrients including freshwater nutrient reporting.
