Pierre Glynn is an affiliated scholar with Arizona State University and Scientist Emeritus/USGS Science & Decisions Centre (USA) with a background in geochemistry & groundwater science. His 3-yr Royal Society of New Zealand “Catalyst/Leader” Fellowship aims to bring science-policy approaches to NZ’s groundwater sector. His interactive talk is titled:

where we hosted George Asher, Te Ngaehe Wanikau & Wiari Rauhinaof Te Kotahitanga o Ngāti Tūwharetoa & Working Group members from WRC Tutahanga Douglas, Mali Ahipene & TDC Nick Carroll. LWAG received an informative update on the draft document that is due to be released for public submissions in June.

LWAG hosted TDC’s Senior Policy Advisor Hilary Samuel at our March 17 meeting. TDC are awaiting direction from Central Govt on RMA changes and other matters but are reviewing sections of the District Plan including Rural & Residential chapters. Draft documents are due to be released for public consultation in May.
